Drake - The motto featuring lil Wayne and Tyga

Drake ~ The Motto Featuring Lil Wayne & Tyga (Official Video) from OctobersVeryOwn on Vimeo.

I LOVE this song. First of all, love the East, West and South coast unity. It's nice to see that hip hop is maturing from the days of imaginary war lines. Second, the beat of the song is definitely inspired by the jerkin dance craze from the east coast thaat I'm feeling big time. Finally, I love hte video is simple, fun and chill. To me..this IS a hit!

I must also say that considering my friend and I were the only blacks within the first 3 rows, Kanye West and Jayz has made their lyrics accessible (and acceptable) across all races, sexes, and creeds. THAT is the power of music...
