Cat and Dolphins playing together

Do you know how much guts it takes to face a beast 100 times your size and weight? Now add that you are facing this beast on THEIR territory....a world you know nothing of but know entering may take your life. The final kicker?? That beast has friends... I'm impressed by this cat. I know I may be looking to deeply into this for some but think about it. If a small cat can believe in the good of a "odd" stranger and the support of its family, why can't us as humans also have that kind of confidence with people of other worlds, race, creed, sexual orientation, foods, scents, dress, etc? Why do the great "seas" of nations we aren't familiar with reinforce our "us vs them" positions so much that we create a self-imposed ignorance? Why, with all of our access to internet, libraries, TV, discounted flights..heck, cellphone browsing...we let differences in others bring out our fears instead of our curiosities? If dry fur and wet smooth skin can enjoy a caress, then why can't skin and skin...blood and blood....hand and hand? What's really the difference?
